We are excited to invite employers to join us as Preferred Employers on the GLA Skills Bootcamps, a fully funded initiative to equip Londoners with the skills your business needs. Delivered in partnership with expert training providers. These Bootcamps focus on priority sectors including hospitality, retail, construction, digital, logistics, green industries, and health.
What Are GLA Skills Bootcamps?
- Intensive 2-3 week training programmes for adults aged 19+, with at least 60 guided learning hours.
- Delivered through flexible classroom and live online sessions.
- Designed to develop in-demand skills aligned with employer needs.
- Open to Londoners in or out of work, supporting a diverse range of candidates.
What Does the GLA Aim to Achieve?
Address Skills Gaps
Equip candidates with practical skills to fill urgent vacancies.
Promote Good Work
Support progression into roles paying at least the London Living Wage, with guaranteed minimum hours and continuous employment.
Support Career Progression
Enable learners to secure new roles, apprenticeships, or contracts.
Deliver Positive Outcomes
Target a minimum 75% positive outcome rate within six months of course completion.
