Virtual interviewing makes the hiring process quicker and easier. For the employer that means popular roles do not remain open for long. Moreover, interviewing virtually can also give candidates greater control over the hiring process by allowing you to respond to questions from the comfort and convenience of your home.
What to expect in your virtual interview
Once you have registered for the interview, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to join the interview at the scheduled date and time of your choice. You can change or cancel your scheduled interview time using the same confirmation email if needed. Before the interview, a reminder email and text message will also be sent to you. On the day and time of your interview, you can join by clicking the interview link in your confirmation email or text message. You will then enter a virtual waiting room until it’s time for your interview.
Try to join the interview a few minutes before the scheduled time, be ready to turn your camera on and have a virtual copy of your resume readily available. It can also be helpful to read about the company and the role before the interview during your preparation.
